There isn’t time (must go to workshops) to say much beyond the usual, “everyone fucking killed it last night, srsly” but if I had do describe minusbaby’s set in one word, it would be Historic. I’ll see the rest of you in the ER of the New York Methodist Hospital after tonight’s 1-2 Punch of Nullsleep / Stu. Should be getting my laptop at the festival today (have yet to go home since this thing started) so I_might_be able to upload some teaser footage…?!?
Hats to the diner on 5th avenue earlier this morning. Went from being completely empty (save two tables) to being completely packed, at 330am, with Blip Folk. No less than 30 people completely dominated that place and the skeleton staff kept it together and delicious. Things I learned @ the diner: Bit Shifter had serious sideburns back in the day, “actual” Greeks can’t settle on “jyro” or “yeero” as a pronunciation of Gyro, Trash80 has changed his name at least 40 times (started off as Trash40, I guess?), and Stu can fly.
Heading to the Bell House now for Round 3…
ps-don’t tell kids on 8bc that you don’t care for Bit Shifter. You’ll get your ass kicked. After you step outside.
About to make my way down to the Bell House to meet up with the rest of 2pp and get setup / cover sound check / etc. Yes Yes YES.
